Blackout Productions stepped into the light in 2013 with their production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Founded as a wholly inclusive and friendly theatre company by Gabrielle Pavone-Clark, Lesley Ward, Scott Anderson, Carole Gibson and Janet Walker, the registered charity have gone on to produce musicals, cabarets and straight theatre across Edinburgh including Calendar Girls, Macpherson's Rant, Proof and Steel Magnolias.

Now in their 11th year, they return to the stage this October with their ferocious interpretation of SWEENEY TODD: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, directed by the formidable Susie Dumbreck.
